Palette


Palettes are used for paint mixing and storing paint.  The surfaces are made in various shapes and sizes. It holds the selection of colors an artist chooses to work with. Watercolor palettes are made of plastic, metal, glass, ceramic, or enameled trays. Oil painting palettes usually are made of glass, palette paper, Formica. Acrylic painting palettes are made of glass, metal, Styrofoam, and palette paper.
