Art Deco

A decorative movement fashionable during the 1920's and 1930's and characterized by geometric, streamlined shapes and the use of contrasting, often luxurious, materials. The movement was named after the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, an exhibition held in Paris in 1925.
